Whisper
Some signals begin before thought.
Not as sound, but as pressure inside the mind.
A presence that waits beneath awareness.
This piece reflects the moment
when instinct forms its first line of communication –
quiet, persistent, unavoidable.
Stage I – The first signal
Barely a sound. Something pre-human. A presence beneath breath.
At first, it wasn’t a voice.
Just breath in the dark,
a tremor under the ribs,
something older than memory,
closer than breath itself.
I tried to bury it,
to drown it in noise,
but it returned –
sharp, undeniable.
Stage II – Recognition of the Whisper
The moment when instinct reveals its true nature.
Then I knew –
it was a whisper.
Not from the world,
but from the animal in my bones,
the part of me that never learned to lie.
Stage III – The first claim
The Whisper declares itself through instinctual ownership.
The whisper is selfish.
The whisper is mine.
It gives me the right
to exist.
Stage IV – The choice
Fear kills instinct. Awareness awakens it.
The whisper asked for nothing.
It simply waited
for me to stop pretending.
Fear would kill it,
turn instinct to silence
and leave me obedient.
Awareness
would awaken it.
So I chose awareness.
Stage V – Foreign voices
Not all voices inside the mind are yours.
But not every voice is yours.
Some crawl in quietly –
soft lies,
borrowed truths,
foreign fears,
voices that want you small,
voices that want control.
But my Essence
does not let them stay.
Stage VI – Acceptance of the Whisper
The truth becomes a vow. The Whisper becomes identity.
The whisper is selfish.
The whisper is mine.
It gives me the right
to exist.
Only the whisper.
Only mine.
Stage VII – Integration begins
From fear to clarity. From noise to presence. From impulse to intention.
Now it speaks
not as madness,
not as fear,
but as a steady voice
rising within me.
As I listen,
it grows clear,
and I stay with it
without hesitation.
When it calls,
I will answer.
This is not a voice.
It is the first confirmation that the Essence is awake.
A signal that identity begins
when you stop ignoring what speaks from within.
